Job summary

JIRUI ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional to manage local and overseas construction project sourcing. You will read drawings, determine material quantities, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specs.

You will compare quotations, negotiate terms, monitor orders, and maintain records across international teams. Travel overseas may be required to support procurement activities and supplier coordination.

• Manage and oversee procurement activities for both local and overseas construction projects .
• Be responsible for sourcing and purchasing construction materials, equipment and services required for overseas projects.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and material specifications to determine required materials and quantities.
• Source suppliers and obtain quotations based on project requirements.
• Compare quotations, negotiate prices and payment terms, and select suitable suppliers.
• Coordinate with overseas project teams, suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor purchase orders, shipment schedules and delivery arrangements for overseas projects.
• Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain good relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
• Monitor material costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Handle procurement issues, including delayed deliveries, incorrect quantities and defective materials.
• Maintain proper procurement records, quotations, purchase orders and supplier documentation.
• Travel overseas when required to support project procurement activities and coordinate with suppliers or project teams.
