Job summary

Building and Construction Authority Singapore is seeking a procurement professional to help shape and drive the Authority’s procurement function within the finance team. The role focuses on governance, practical advisory, and continuous improvement of procurement policies and processes.

Qualifications

Service-oriented, meticulous, and resourceful.
Strong analytical skills with ability to use data for reporting and process improvement.
Public sector or procurement experience is an advantage.
Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to engage internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Proactive team player who can work independently and collaborate well.

Responsibilities

Procurement planning and advisory: Partner with line departments to understand needs, review specs, and develop procurement strategies.
End-to-end procurement support: Support the full procurement process, including preparing sourcing documents, evaluating submissions, seeking approvals, and managing contracts.
Governance and continuous improvement: Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, review processes, and identify value-adding opportunities.
