Job summary

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) invites you to join our finance team to strengthen procurement governance and drive continuous improvements across policies, processes, and practices. You will partner with internal departments, shape procurement strategies, and support end-to-end procurement activities to ensure value and compliance.

Job description

What the role is:

You will be part of the finance team, playing a key role in shaping and driving the Authority's procurement function. This is a dynamic role where you will support effective procurement governance, provide practical advice, and contribute to continuous improvements in procurement policies, processes, and practices.

What you will be working on:

• Procurement planning and advisory
  • Partner with line departments to understand their needs, review specifications, and develop procurement strategies that meet project requirements.
• End-to-end procurement support
  • Support the full procurement process, including preparing sourcing documents, evaluating submissions, seeking approvals, and managing contracts.
  • Assist with contract management activities, such as monitoring contract expiry dates and following up on required actions.
• Governance and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Review procurement policies and work processes to keep them effective and relevant.
  • Identify opportunities to add value, strengthen controls, introduce innovative solutions, and improve procurement practices.
