Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking an experienced Procurement professional to manage end-to-end processes from PR sourcing to PO issuance. You will procure goods and services, conduct competitive quotes, and ensure on-time deliveries in a fast-paced SSC environment.

The role requires SAP hands-on experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to negotiate and build strong supplier relationships. Working hours are Mon-Fri, located at 600 West Camp Road, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration/ Procurement/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in Procurement as a Buyer.
• SAP hands-on and Microsoft Office experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication & planning skills.
• Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced shared services environment.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods, materials, components or services to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Conduct sourcing and competitive quotations to ensure best value.
• Evaluate, negotiate and award orders to selected suppliers.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Meet the Service Level Agreements (SLA) of the Shared Services Centre.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues.
• Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsible for the end-to-end procurement process from Purchase Request (PR) sourcing to Purchasing Order (PO) issuance to support the needs of Business Units and meet agreed service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
• Conduct sourcing/ competitive quotation so as to ensure that the best value is achieved for the company
• Evaluate, negotiate and award orders to selected supplier
• Ensure that goods and services are timely delivered
• Achieve the Service Level Agreements (SLA) of Shared Services Centre (SSC)
• Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures
• Resolve all price, quality, and delivery or invoice issues
• Build, maintain and manage relationships of both internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement efforts on work process efficiency.

Requirements:

• Diplomain Business Administration/ Procurement/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• At leasttwo (2) years of experiencein Procurement as a Buyer
