Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd in Singapore's East invites a Procurement Executive to join the procurement team for ongoing transformation projects. You will manage sourcing and procurement for OEM and hardware commodities, lead cost reduction and value creation through supplier negotiations, and expand the supplier network.

Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to plan sourcing strategies, monitor market trends, and implement risk mitigation for single-source parts and EOL

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in managing OEM and hardware commodities.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in sourcing and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and procurement activities for OEM and hardware commodities.
• Lead cost reduction and value creation initiatives through supplier negotiations, alternative sourcing, localisation, Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE), and supplier consolidation.
• Develop and expand the supplier network to support sourcing and procurement activities while building strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
• Identify product redesign and engineering-related cost optimisation opportunities.
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to plan and execute sourcing and procurement strategies.
• Monitor global market trends and proactively implement risk mitigation and contingency plans for end-of-life (EOL) components and single-source parts.
• Collaborate with Engineering on design reviews, Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs), and component changes, providing solutions to technical and sourcing-related issues.
