Job summary

Kinergy Corporation Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Engineer (OEM & Hardware) to manage component sourcing and drive cost reduction initiatives. You will establish a wide supplier network, lead negotiations, and ensure supply continuity across engineering, operations and product teams.

The role requires a diploma in a relevant field and 5–7 years of sourcing experience in OEM/hardware commodities. Short notice availability is an added advantage and the position is based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Admin.
• Possess good experience in handling OEM & Hardware commodities.
• Min 5–7 years of relevant sourcing experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; a good team player.
• Ability to start work on short notice is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage component sourcing on OEM & Hardware commodities.
• Drive cost reduction and value creation through negotiations, alternate sourcing, localizations, and supplier consolidations.
• Establish a wide supplier network for sourcing and procurement activities; lead strategic supplier relationships.
• Identify redesign cost reduction opportunities.
• Drive lead time improvement, payment terms, delivery terms, MOQ/SPQ reductions, and optimizations.
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to meet quality, cost, delivery and capacity requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, operations and product teams to plan and drive procurement activities.
• Monitor global market trends and implement proactive risk mitigation and contingency strategies on EOL and single-source parts.
• Interface with Engineering on design reviews and Part changes; provide resolutions on technical issues.
• AOS management during build and initial production phases.

Procurement Engineer (OEM & Hardware)

• Manage component sourcing on OEM & Hardware Commodities
• Overall ownership to drive cost reduction and value creation initiatives through negotiations, alternate sourcing, localizations, VAVE, supplier consolidations
• Establish wide supplier network to facilitate both Sourcing and Procurement activities, leading strategic relationship with critical suppliers
• Identify redesign cost reduction opportunities
• Drive component lead time improvement, Payment terms, delivery terms, MOQ/SPQ reduction and Optimizations
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to meet quality, cost, delivery and capacity requirement
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, operations and product team, plan & drive execution of all Procurement & Sourcing activities.
• Monitor global market trend and implement proactive risk mitigation and contingency Strategies on EOL, Single source parts
• Interface with Engineeringon design review/ECN/Part changes & provide resolutions on all technical issues.
• AOS Management during build phase and initial production phase
