Job summary

Seatrium Ltd. invites expressions of interest from procurement professionals to support drilling, production and maintenance projects in Singapore. The role collaborates with engineering and operations to understand needs and specifications, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate favorable terms.

Candidates should have a degree in a related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record in fast-paced environments. Experience with topside contracts is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering/Process/Logistics).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing equipment/topsides contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services for projects and operations.
• Liaise with engineering, projects, and operations teams to capture needs and specs.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and conduct technical/commercial bid evaluations.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and HSE regulations.
• Maintain and update vendor databases and procurement records.
• Track and expedite orders to meet project timelines and minimize downtime.
• Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation for the supply chain.
• Prepare procurement reports and analyses for management review.
• Knowledge of procurement tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

Job description

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for projects, operations, including drilling, production, maintenance, and engineering projects.
• Liaise with internal teams (engineering, projects, operations) to understand procurement needs and specifications.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and conduct technical and commercial evaluations of bids.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize costs and performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Maintain and update vendor databases and procurement records.
• Track and expedite orders to meet project timelines and minimize downtime.
• Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation related to the supply chain.
• Prepare procurement reports and analysis for management review.
• Knowledge of procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Process/Marine Offshore/Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or related discipline
• Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in managing contracts for equipment, especially topside, will be an added advantage.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5.15pm
