Job summary

GOLDEN CENTURY ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional in Singapore to source M&E materials, obtain quotations, and negotiate with suppliers.

You will prepare POs, manage deliveries, and maintain procurement records. Collaboration with project teams and accounts is essential to align spending with project needs and controls. Proficient Excel usage and clear English communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase mechanical & electrical (M&E), air conditioning, and ducting materials to meet project requirements
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize procurement outcomes
• Coordinate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to manage order fulfillment and resolve issues
• Prepare and process purchase orders (PO), delivery orders (DO), and invoices accurately and timely
• Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and address any delays or discrepancies
• Maintain detailed procurement records and documentation using Excel for tracking and reporting
• Collaborate with project/site teams and accounts departments to align procurement activities with project needs and financial controls
• Use Excel to organize procurement data and communicate procurement status via email
• Communicate clearly in English to liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders
