Job summary

Aluminium Offshore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a procurement professional with 3+ years of experience to manage sourcing, bid analysis and supplier collaboration for project deliveries in Singapore.

You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure specifications, quality and on-time delivery, while evaluating procurement options and driving cost efficiency. SAP Business One knowledge is preferred and a diploma in electrical engineering is a baseline requirement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Knowledge of SAP Business One preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read tender documents and conduct sourcing according to project specs.
• Prepare bid analysis, POs and track procured equipment, materials and services.
• Coordinate between suppliers and internal teams to meet specs and client requirements.
• Monitor vendor performance, procurement planning, product quality and timely delivery.
• Analyze and recommend procurement routes and vendors.
• Provide data for top management decision making.
• Provide technical input in development and improvements of products and processes with suppliers.
• Identify and develop new parts suppliers to improve supply chain.
• Execute purchasing activities and secure competitive offers from suppliers.
• Support company winning projects by securing competitive supplier offers.

• Reads tender documents and conduct sourcing according to the project agreed specifications and requirements.
• Preparation of bid analysis, purchase orders and tracking of the equipment, materials and services procured.
• Co-ordinate between suppliers and internal departments/project teams to ensure specifications are met and in compliance with client requirements.
• Responsible for the performance of vendors, procurement planning, product quality and timely delivery
• Analyze and recommend alternative procurement routes and vendors
• Provide data for relevant decision making at top management level
• Provide technical expertise in the development and improvement of products, process & materials specifications with suppliers.
• Identify and develop new parts supplier to improve supply chain network
• Execute purchasing activities
• Support in Company winning projects by securing the most competitive offers from the suppliers

Skills & Qualification

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any other engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Knowledge in SAP Business one preferred
• Positive attitude, good negotiation skill and self-motivated
