Job summary

SUNMAN SOLUTION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a procurement professional to manage day-to-day buying activities for raw materials, components, consumables, equipment and services.

You will source suppliers, issue RFQs, negotiate terms and monitor orders to support production schedules. Applicants should be adept at supplier evaluation, identifying cost-saving opportunities and maintaining accurate procurement records, ensuring compliance with company policies and approval processes

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day procurement activities for raw materials, components, consumables, equipment and services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality lead time and reliability.
• Prepare RFQs, compare quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders and ensure purchases are made according to approved requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules and material availability to support production requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Project, Warehouse, Engineering and Finance teams.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery delays, shortages, quality issues and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, quotations and purchase documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid production disruptions.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers where appropriate.
• Support supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and approval procedures.
