The role collaborates with supply chain planning, production and logistics teams to maintain material flow, monitor stock levels, and uphold accurate purchasing records for efficient operations.

Job description

• Oversee daily procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, RFQs, quotation evaluation, price negotiation and purchase order placement.
• Procure materials, components and equipment based on MRP requirements and production schedules.
• Monitor open purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to expedite deliveries and prevent production disruptions.
• Work closely with supply chain planning, production and logistics teams to maintain a reliable supply of materials.
• Review inventory levels and manage replenishment activities in accordance with established stocking policies.
• Coordinate inbound shipments, shipment tracking and customs declaration documentation with logistics partners.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance against quality, delivery and inventory management objectives.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including vendor setup, purchase orders, delivery notes and invoice documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers on returned materials, RMA cases and non-conforming items.
• Support procurement cost-reduction initiatives through price negotiation, supplier evaluation and purchasing process improvements.
• Prepare regular procurement reports and maintain accurate purchasing records.
