Job summary

SUNMAN SOLUTION ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a proactive procurement professional to manage day-to-day purchasing of raw materials, components, consumables, equipment and services, ensuring alignment with production needs.

You will source suppliers, issue RFQs, negotiate terms, monitor deliveries, and maintain procurement records while collaborating with Production, Planning, Project, Warehouse, Engineering and Finance teams to drive cost savings and supplier performance, ensuring compliance

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day procurement activities for raw materials, components, consumables, equipment and services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, lead time and reliability.
• Prepare RFQs, compare quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders and ensure purchases are made according to approved requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules and material availability to support production requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Project, Warehouse, Engineering and Finance teams.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery delays, shortages, quality issues and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, quotations and purchase documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid production disruptions.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers where appropriate.
• Support supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and approval procedures.
