PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE
Working Location: Biopolis
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: $2,000 - $2,500 per month
About the Role
We are looking for a Procurement Executive to support the sourcing and purchasing of packaging materials, consumables and other ad-hoc supplies.
This role also supports logistics activities within the Contract Logistics department, including warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation and distribution.
Candidates with an Administration or Customer Service background are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase materials, packaging supplies, consumables and non-standardised products based on business requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and expiry dates, and ensure timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and generate purchase orders.
- Check incoming goods and resolve discrepancies or documentation issues.
- Maintain and update inventory information, including Lead Time and Re-order Point (ROP), in the CISPRO system.
- Update activity reports and relevant records in SharePoint.
- Maintain accurate records of supplies and follow up on any issues.
- Initiate the Goods Received (GR) process upon receipt of signed Delivery Orders.
- Coordinate with customers, forwarders and couriers on shipment requests.
- Support end-to-end coordination of customer shipment requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and security of goods within the dock and warehouse areas.
- Support the team in meeting financial, productivity and service targets.
- Maintain good working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of working experience; experience in procurement, logistics, administration or customer service is advantageous.
- Candidates without direct procurement experience but with relevant administrative or customer service experience are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Able to work effectively with people at different levels and handle challenging situations professionally.
- Adaptable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a strong commitment to quality.
