People Profilers in Singapore is seeking a Procurement/Buyer candidate to support sourcing, supplier evaluation, and RFQ processes. You will negotiate terms, raise POs, and coordinate with departments to meet project needs.

The role requires a Diploma in Supply Chain or related field, with fresh graduates welcome. Strong negotiation, communication, and adaptability are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Familiar with IT products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sourcing, evaluate and raise RFQs from suppliers.
• Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors.
• Process purchase requisitions and raise POs promptly.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate procurement needs with departments and projects.
• Collaborate with Logistics and Finance on inventory planning and control.
• Uphold procurement processes and policies.
• Provide full administrative support to the Procurement Department.
• Handle ad-hoc projects and activities.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• To conduct sourcing, evaluate & Request for Quotation from suppliers.
• Proactively communicate with vendors and negotiate for the best deal, terms and contracts.
• To process purchase requisition and raise PO timely.
• To follow up with vendors in ensuring on time delivery performances are met.
• To manage and coordinate the procurement requirements with all respective departments and projects.
• To work closely with the Logistics and Finance Department on planning and control for the inventory management.
• Comply and uphold all procurement processes and policies.
• Provide a full spectrum of administrative support to the Procurement Department.
• Other ad-hoc projects/activities assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain or related field.
• Preferably familiar with IT products will be a plus point.
• Fresh graduates with relevant working/internship experience in Procurement/Buyer are welcomed to apply.
• Strong negotiation skills and good judgment ability.
• Confidence, communication skills and able to interact with other department heads.
• Adaptive to fast pace environment, independently and result-oriented.

• Candidates who are able to start work within short notice will be preferred.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9AM to 6:30PM.
