Job summary

Apex Sealing Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a procurement professional in Singapore to handle procurement execution, supplier sourcing, and vendor development for marine, oil & gas, and engineering products. The role requires collaboration across departments and sharp negotiation skills.

You'll manage POs, monitor inventory, and optimize procurement processes while maintaining accurate records. The position offers standard office hours at our Singapore location with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or sourcing in marine, oil & gas, engineering or technical products.
• Good sourcing, negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills across departments.
• Detail-oriented with proper purchasing records and documentation.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Responsible, proactive and willing to follow procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Execution and Order Follow-up: Review requirements, compare prices, issue POs, and ensure timely delivery.
• Return order handling: Resolve receiving discrepancies with Sales coordination.
• Source suitable products and suppliers, compare price, quality and lead times.
• New Vendor Development to improve pricing, quality, service and terms.
• Monitor inventory and procurement data for timely replenishment.
• Coordinate with internal departments to source correct products to spec.
• Participate in training to enhance procurement knowledge.
• Complete tasks assigned by management and report progress.
• Procure office supplies and warehouse materials for the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Procurement Execution and Order Follow-up ：Review purchase requirements, compare prices, issue purchase orders (PO), and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Return order handling: Resolve receiving discrepancies promptly in coordination with Sales
• Sourcing Skills: Source suitable products and suppliers, compare price, quality and lead time to meet company requirements.
• New Vendor Development and Management: explore alternative suppliers to achieve better pricing, quality, service and commercial terms, while identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Inventory Data Analysis and Procurement Optimization: Monitor inventory and procurement data and plan timely replenishment.
• Cross Department Communication and Coordination：Work closely with internal departments to ensure the correct products are sourced according to the required specifications.
• Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and procurement expertise
• Complete tasks assigned by management and report progress in a timely manner.
• Be responsible for the procurement of office supplies and warehouse materials for the company.
