Job summary

JE Green Solutions Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based procurement arm, is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead supplier management, source materials, and negotiate contracts. The role focuses on cost-effective purchasing for JE Group and requires strong Chinese communication for Mandarin-speaking partners.

You will manage the end-to-end procurement process, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with in-house procedures.

Qualifications

• Singaporean or Permanent Resident only.
• Proficient in Chinese to communicate with Mandarin-speaking partners.
• Diploma or degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years procurement experience in oil, gas & power energy related industries.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and inventory control.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate supplier options and identify cost savings.
• Attention to detail in processing purchase orders and maintaining procurement documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Management (Sourcing, Supplier Evaluation, Selection).
• Generation of Purchase Orders and processing change orders.
• Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Contract negotiation with vendors and ensuring best pricing.
• Update and maintain vendors in the in-house system.
• Monitor and coordinate with vendors to expedite deliveries.
• Maintain proper documentation for purchases and contracts.
• Period reviews and updates to procurement manual and processes.
• Liaise with Finance and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Lead and conduct yearly vendor evaluation surveys with reports.
• Track status of orders and liaise with local/overseas suppliers on inquiries.
• Issuing of Purchase Orders and handle procurement matters.
• Dealings with Chinese counterparts.
• Preferably with Electrical knowledge.
• In charge of procurement matters for JE Group.
• Any other duties assigned by Head of Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties and responsibilities are stipulated, but not limited to, as follows: -

• Supplier Management (Sourcing, Supplier Evaluation, Selection)
• Generation of Purchase Order and process change orders
• Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Contract negotiation with vendor and ensure the material are acquired at best pricing
• Update and maintain the vendors listing, purchasing and costs in the in-house system
• Monitor and coordinate with vendors to expedite for prompt delivery of purchases and services
• Maintain proper documentation records of purchases and contracts
• Period reviews and update procurement manual and processes
• Liaise with Finance department and vendors to resolve discrepancies such as products, quality, delivery or payment issue, if any
• Lead and conduct yearly vendor evaluation survey with analysis reports
• Track the status of any orders
• Liaise with local / overseas suppliers on enquiries
• Issuing of Purchase Orders, handle all procurement matters
• Dealingwith Chinese counterparts.
• Preferably with Electrical knowledge
• In charge for procurement matters for JE Group
