Job summary

United Microelectronics Corporation (Singapore Branch) is seeking an experienced procurement professional to collaborate with internal stakeholders, understand requirements, and provide guidelines and support across procurement activities.

You will conduct market reviews, manage RFQs, negotiate terms, ensure timely PO execution, drive cost savings, report performance, and partner with manufacturers and sub-tiers in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–6 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and self-motivation.
• Strong numeracy and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide support and guidelines as required.
• Conduct timely market reviews and RFQ in accordance with internal purchasing rules and guidelines.
• Negotiate quantities, prices, delivery schedules, terms and conditions of delivery and payment/contractual terms.
• Ensure timely PO execution to meet production needs.
• Drive resolution to supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-time, including engagement with manufacturers/sub-tiers in the supply chain.
• Identify and realize cost savings opportunities and execute cost reduction initiatives.
• Prepare all relevant weekly, monthly reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement
