Job summary

Siltronic Silicon Wafer Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a procurement professional to manage consumables, MRO items, spare parts, and project materials, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics or business, at least 2 years in procurement or production planning (preferably semiconductor), strong teamwork and communication, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, business or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement or production planning, preferably in semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplies like consumables, MRO items, spare parts, and project-related materials.
• Negotiate with suppliers on specifications, quality, price, delivery and terms.
• Review new material or part requests and add items to the system if needed.
• Work with stakeholders to evaluate and set up new suppliers in the system.
• Develop strategic plans, forecast material demand, and oversee material requirements for timely acquisition and inventory management.
• Monitor unusual trends or usage in materials.
• Create and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance to Company Procurement Strategy & Policies.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve quality or supply issues quickly.
• Share updates on product, supplier, or service changes with relevant teams.
• For Senior role: act as procurement lead for major projects and strategic supplier engagements.
• Support management reporting and drive supplier development and procurement improvement projects.
• Lead cross functional procurement initiatives and supply risk mitigation programs.

• Work with stakeholders to evaluate and set- up new suppliers in system.

• Develop strategic plans, forecast material demand, and oversee material requirements to ensure timely acquisition and good inventory management.

• Monitor unusual trends or usage in materials.

Job Requirements:
