Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) in Singapore seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage General Affairs and Information Technology purchases for semiconductor facilities. You will handle equipment spares, services, and liaise with fab stakeholders to fulfill purchase requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree holder (Bachelor’s or equivalent)
• Min 1 to 3 years experience, preferably in Semiconductor
• GAIT and Facilities Purchasing experience advantageous
• Soft skills and proficiency in MS Office and related tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) advantageous

Responsibilities

• Responsible for procurement of General Affairs & IT and Facilities for semiconductor process
• Support procurement of Equipment Spares (Modules)
• Support procurement of Services (Repair, Maintenance, Overhaul)
• Work with Fab stakeholders on purchase requirements
• New source/vendors development
• Improve internal/external processes and develop new systems for productivity
• Distribute RFQs to vendors and negotiate
• Sign purchase orders and contracts
• Assist suppliers/outsourcers in evaluating operations
• Participate in Crisis Management and Business Continuity activities

• Support the procurement of Equipment Spares related (Modules)
• Support the procurement on Services related (Repair, Maintenance and Overhaul)
• To work with Fab stakeholders on their purchase requirements
• Improvement of internal and external operation processes and development of new systems for better productivity

• Confirmation of signing of Purchase Orders and Contracts
• Participate in and assist suppliers and outsourcers to evaluate relevant operations

Requirements

• Soft skills (Microsoft Excel, Words, Power point, Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Python) is an added advantage
