Job summary

TEN-LEAGUE CORPORATIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement/logistics professional to manage end-to-end procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, and oversee LC documentation for a maternity cover role in Singapore.

The ideal candidate brings 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong contract and negotiation skills, and a solid grasp of customs and international shipping procedures. You will coordinate with freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement including sourcing, tenders, and vendor negotiations.

Job description

This position is a maternity cover role for an initial period of 5 months or longer, subject to business requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Manage end-to-end procurement, including sourcing, tenders, and vendor negotiations.
• Negotiating favorable contract terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best value for the business.
• Placing purchase orders and tracking deliveries to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Handle contract and vendor relationship management, including supplier risk monitoring.
• Monitor and co-ordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines on deliveries of cargoes.
• Handling of Import and Export LC documentation.
• LC preparation and negotiation.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing list and certificates of origin etc.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including shipping manifests, delivery records, and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, laws, and company policies.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a procurement or logistics role, preferably within the construction machinery industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team.
• Hands-on experience in L/C.
• Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export processes, and international shipping procedures (preferred).
• Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software.
