Job summary

BOYD TECHNOLOGIES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and optimize processes across silk screen printing, lamination, and assembly, while supporting NPI and CAPA programs.

You will drive efficiency, quality, and cost improvements in a high-tech electronics manufacturing environment, with a focus on ISO standards and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree with minimum 2 years in manufacturing involving mechanical and electronics assembly.
• Experience with Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methods.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, GD&T, PFMEA and QCP.
• Strong mechanical and electrical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize silk screen printing, die cutting, lamination, assembly, and converting processes.
• Support new product introductions by defining process parameters, validating IQ/OQ/PQ, and performing capability studies.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues using root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Lead Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity, yield, cycle time, scrap reduction, and cost savings.
• Evaluate and qualify new materials, equipment, tooling, and methods to enhance production capabilities.
• Coordinate tooling fabrication, ECN implementation, and ERP system setup to ensure smooth production flow.
• Ensure ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, safety, environmental, and customer requirements.
• Support equipment setup and maintenance coordination to maintain process capability and uptime.
• Participate in customer and supplier audits and technical discussions to uphold quality and compliance standards.
• Prepare SOPs, work instructions, and engineering documentation to support manufacturing processes.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support operational goals.

Job Summary

You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, support new product introductions, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize silk screen printing, die cutting, lamination, assembly, and converting processes to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality
• Support new product introduction by defining process parameters, conducting validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), and performing capability studies
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Lead Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity, yield, cycle time, scrap reduction, and cost savings
• Evaluate and qualify new materials, equipment, tooling, and manufacturing methods to enhance production capabilities
• Coordinate tooling fabrication, engineering change notice (ECN) implementation, and ERP system setup to ensure smooth production flow
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards, safety, environmental, and customer requirements
• Support equipment setup and maintenance coordination to maintain process capability and uptime
• Participate in customer and supplier audits and technical discussions to uphold quality and compliance standards
• Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and engineering documentation to support manufacturing processes
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support operational goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment involving mechanical and electronics assembly
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, collaborative team player, and able to perform under pressure with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, GD&T, PFMEA, quality control plans (QCP), and process validation per ISO 13485
• Experience applying Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, yield improvement, productivity improvement, and cost reduction
• Strong mechanical system understanding combined with electrical/electronic knowledge
