Job summary

Silith is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Singapore to drive operational excellence across production lines. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor or photonics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, yield analysis, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and SPC tools.
• Hands-on experience with DFMEA, DOE, and lean methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 or similar quality systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process optimization: Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality.
• Production support: Provide engineering support to production lines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
• Yield improvement: Monitor and analyze yield data, identify root causes of defects, and drive corrective actions.
• Equipment management: Oversee installation, calibration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with R&D, quality, and supply chain teams to align manufacturing processes with product design and customer requirements.
• Documentation and compliance: Prepare and maintain process documentation, ensure compliance with ISO standards, and support audits.
• Continuous improvement: Lead initiatives in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
