Job summary

Candid Capital Management Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Fund Accounting and Operations Associate to support day-to-day fund operations for our private equity platform. You will own end-to-end processes including capital calls, distributions, NAV cycles, investor reporting and liaison with administrators.

This role offers the chance to build financial modelling and valuation skills while gaining exposure to LP/GP structures, audits, and MAS compliance as the platform grows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Economics or related discipline.
• 2 years' experience in fund operations, fund accounting or fund administration, with exposure to private equity or private credit.
• Working understanding of PE fund structures: LP/GP structures, capital commitments, drawdowns, distribution waterfalls, management fees and carried interest.
• Basic financial modelling or private equity analysis capability and Excel modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual audit and tax filings with auditors, tax agents and the administrator.
• Produce and review the quarterly NAV pack, partners' capital allocations and capital account statements.
• Calculate management fees and fund expense allocations as per the LPA and mandate.
• Maintain investment cost basis, and account for acquisitions, follow-on funding, revaluations, gains and exits.
• Prepare annual financial statements under Singapore FRS and IFRS with notes and schedules.
• Coordinate capital calls and distributions across LPs with the fund administrator.
• Process cash movements, FX conversions, and inter‑entity funding across fund accounts.
• Maintain fund and SPV records and signing authorities; support investor reporting.
• Assemble investor reports and handle ad-hoc data requests; assist onboarding and MAS compliance.
• Support valuations process and maintain portfolio metrics (IRR, MOIC) for internal models.
