Job summary

Our client, a Singapore-based fund management company, invites a proactive professional to join the operations team. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and Partners to support fund operations, portfolio company coverage, investor reporting and regulatory coordination while overseeing third‑party service providers.

You will own operational workflows, improve reporting processes and contribute to initiatives that reduce operational risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Available for a full-time onsite role in our Singapore Office.
• Singaporean only.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts.
• Understanding of cash flows and accounting within fund management.
• Understanding and calculations of metrics typically associated with fund performance.

Responsibilities

• Market Research & Portfolio Company Workstreams – prepare concise research reports and present insights.
• Monitor portfolio company updates and track global VC/PE market developments.
• Fund Operations & Reporting – end-to-end accounting, administration, audit coordination, regulatory filings.
• Team Coordination – track tasks, coordinate events, meetings, and vendor management.

Our client is a Singapore-based fund management company serving as a regional headquarters for Southeast Asia. The organisation provides a broad range of fund management services and operates in a dynamic, collaborative environment with exposure to fund operations, portfolio monitoring, investor reporting and regulatory coordination.

Role: Fund Management (Operations)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join the growing team in Singapore. Working closely with the Head of Finance and the Partners, you will support fund operations, portfolio company coverage, investor relations, compliance administration and the management of third-party service providers. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of operational workflows, improve reporting processes and contribute to initiatives that reduce operational risk.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Portfolio Company Workstreams - ongoing research workstreams:

• Prepare concise research reports and present insights to the larger team
• Ad-hoc research projects & slides, as assigned
• Monitor updates from portfolio companies and elevate if needed
• Track global VC/PE market developments and sector trends
• Deep dive into competitive landscapes and regulatory changes across geographies

Fund Operations & Reporting - working-level ownership of recurring fund administration and compliance workstreams:

• Fund working-level accounting & administration
• End-to-end audit management
• Coordination of reporting with our KR & US affiliates
• Regulatory filings / KYC support

Team Coordination

• Maintaining task tracking across active workstreams
• Event-related support & coordination
• Scheduling and coordinating team meetings
• Vendor management (fund admin, auditors, legal counsel, corp sec)

Requirements

• Candidates with no experience are also welcome to apply.
• Singaporeans Only.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
• Available for a full-time onsite role in our Singapore Office
• Understanding of cash flows and accounting within the fund management space
• Understanding and calculations of metrics typically associated with fund performance
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts

Advantageous

• Strong accounting / fund administration background
• Experience in managing audit processes
• Knowledge of venture capital, private equity and fund management will be an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is crucial
