Job summary

THREESIXTY COST MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring cost control and timely delivery. The role requires a recognized QS degree and strong contract knowledge, with opportunities for senior-level progression.

You will formulate procurement strategies, prepare tender documents, and manage cost reporting, variation assessments, and final accounts across pre-, construction, and post-construction stages.

Qualifications

• Recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying with relevant Construction industry experience.
• Senior-level candidates will be considered for higher roles.
• Strong knowledge of pre and post-contract duties.
• Good working knowledge of contract forms/conditions and standard forms of measurement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from inception to completion on time and within budget.
• Formulate procurement strategy and prepare tender documents.
• Prepare cost reports and cost plans; administer tender process.
• Review variation orders and assess variation costs; process payments and final accounts.
• Provide cost and financial advice and contractual support through all project stages.
• Lead and manage M&E QS team; provide pre- and post-contract QS services.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.
• Formulation of procurement strategy, preparation of tender documentations, preparation of cost reports and cost plans, administration of tender process, evaluation of tenders and submission of tender recommendation reports.
• Review variation request order, assess the associated variation costs, monthly financial report, processing of progress payment and final account.
• To work closely with the Project Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice during pre-construction, construction and post construction stage.
• To lead and manage M&E QS team
• Provide pre- and post contract M&E QS services

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying with relevant working experience in the Construction industry
• Candidates with longer years of relevant experience can be considered for higher level positions.
• Strong technical background with sound knowledge of pre and post-contract duties
• Good working knowledge of forms/conditions of contract
• Good working knowledge of standard forms of measurement, CEMS, SMM or equivalent
• Membership with SISV, RICS or/and AIQS is preferred
• Able to work independently and be a good team player as well
• Possess excellent people skills with the ability to integrate within a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with external consultants and clients
