Job summary

Cognitive Design Technology Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Engineer – Physical Design to lead end-to-end RTL-to-GDSII implementation for complex SoCs and digital IPs in Singapore.

You will drive floor planning, power planning, placement, CTS, routing, and physical optimization, owning timing closure across multiple PVT corners and ensuring high-performance, energy-efficient designs. Strong expertise in STA, DRC/LVS, and PPA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, VLSI Design, Microelectronics, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RTL-to-GDSII implementation for complex SoCs and digital IPs.
• Drive floor planning, power planning, placement, CTS, routing and physical optimization.
• Own timing closure across multiple PVT corners.
• Optimize designs for power, performance and area.
• Perform congestion and signal integrity analysis and design optimization.
• Drive physical design signoff activities including timing, SI and PI.
