Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a process development engineer for post-fab wafer finishing in semiconductor manufacturing to meet performance, cost, quality and schedule goals.

You will collaborate across Packaging Integration, Assembly Engineering, Front End Wafer Fab, Assembly/Test Engineering, Product Engineering and Global Quality to integrate manufacturing processes for optimal performance and quality control.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S./Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
• 2+ years in semiconductor process development, preferably wafer bonding, plating, warpage control and packaging.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL for statistics, modeling and data analytics.
• Experience with automation and tool integration using Visual Basic; familiarity with E3, FDC and RMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enable deployment of post-fab wafer finishing processes to meet performance and cost targets.
• Coordinate with peers across Packaging, Assembly, Front End Wafer Fab, and Product Engineering.
• Provide POR/MOR documentation for product transfer to high-volume manufacturing.
• Conduct data analysis to drive advanced controls and process improvements.
