Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking an experienced Presales Solution Architect in Singapore to design scalable, secure cloud solutions across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Huawei Cloud) for enterprise and government clients. You will translate business requirements into robust architectures, engage with sales teams, and lead technical proposals.

You will partner with customers to understand objectives, conduct discovery workshops, and deliver architecture demonstrations, ensuring GCC compliance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or solution design.
• 3+ years in presales or customer-facing architecture roles.
• Experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or government sector clients in Singapore.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand objectives, technical challenges, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct technical discovery workshops, solution walkthroughs, and architecture presentations.
• Collaborate with account and sales teams to support sales pursuits, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the presales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through proposal submission.
• Design end-to-end cloud architectures across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Huawei Cloud (good to have).

We are seeking an experienced Presales Solution Architect to support enterprise and public sector engagements in Singapore. This role requires strong expertise in multi-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with working knowledge of Huawei Cloud being advantageous. Experience in designing and proposing solutions aligned with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) requirements is essential.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, customers, and delivery architects to design scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions. You will engage customers during the presales phase, translate business and technical requirements into robust architecture designs, and contribute to the development of compelling and competitive technical proposals.

This role demands a strong balance of technical depth, customer-facing engagement, and effective communication skills to support complex enterprise and government cloud transformation initiatives.

Government & Compliance Alignment

• Design cloud solutions aligned with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) requirements.
• Ensure architectures comply with relevant security, governance, and regulatory standards, including:
• IM8 guidelines
• MTCS requirements
• Data protection and security zoning principles
• Support security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and compliance discussions with customers and stakeholders.

Qualities We Value

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or solution design.

• Proven experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or government sector clients in Singapore.

• Proven experience in customer-facing presales or solution architecture roles.
• Ability to conduct technical workshops, architecture deep dives, and solution discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, solution architecture documents, and cost estimates.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
