Job summary

ALTROCKS TECH PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced cloud architect with strong presales acumen to design enterprise-grade cloud solutions for Singapore clients.

You will engage customers to understand objectives, run discovery workshops, and present architecture options across multi-cloud platforms. You will work closely with sales and accounts teams to support proposals, oversee security and regulatory compliance, and craft landing zones, networking, identity management, and DR/HA strategies for

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or solution design.
• 3+ years in presales or customer-facing architecture roles.
• Experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and government sector clients in Singapore.
• Design end-to-end cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, and Huawei Cloud (good to have).
• Design cloud solutions for migration, hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and modernization programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery workshops and solution walkthroughs.
• Present architecture designs to stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborate with account and sales teams to support pursuits, proposals, and RFPs.
• Provide technical leadership through the presales lifecycle.
• Design cloud landing zones, networking, identity, and security architectures.
• Ensure architectures comply with Singapore GCC, IM8, MTCS and data protection standards.

Experience Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or solution design.
• 3+ years of experience in presales or customer-facing architecture roles.
• Proven experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or government sector clients in Singapore.
• Engage customers to understand their business objectives, technical challenges, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct technical discovery workshops, solution walkthroughs, and architecture presentations.
• Collaborate closely with account and sales teams to support sales pursuits, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the presales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through proposal submission.
• Design end-to-end cloud architectures across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Huawei Cloud (good to have).
• Develop architecture solutions for:
• Cloud migration initiatives
• Hybrid cloud deployments
• Multi-cloud environments
• Application modernization programs
• Design and document cloud landing zones, networking, identity management, and security architectures.
• Design cloud solutions aligned with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) requirements.
• Ensure architectures comply with relevant security, governance, and regulatory standards, including:

• IM8 guidelines

  MTCS requirements

  Data protection and security zoning principles

• Support security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and compliance discussions with customers and stakeholders.

Cloud Platforms

• Strong hands-on experience in at least two of the following cloud platforms:

• Microsoft Azure

  Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  Huawei Cloud (working knowledge preferred)

• Experience designing high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery solutions.
