Job summary

DELL GLOBAL B.V. (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking an Advisory Systems Engineer to act as a customer-facing presales technical leader, driving hybrid cloud, private cloud, HCI, and Kubernetes solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, consulting, solution architecture, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of technology presales or solutions consulting experience.
• Experience with customer discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and proposals.
• Hands-on experience or certifications in Kubernetes, hyperscaler public cloud, VMware technologies (VCF or vSphere) and hybrid-cloud infra is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive Customer Engagement and Opportunity Leadership.
• Lead or support discovery workshops to understand environments, objectives, workloads, and transformation priorities.
• Contribute to qualification, account planning, solution strategy, and risk assessment.
• Design secure, scalable hybrid-cloud and Kubernetes solutions and provide reference architectures.
• Develop demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical evaluations.
• Champion value, present to technical and executive audiences, and support RFI/RFP responses.
• Mentor junior engineers on cloud platforms, HCI, and presales practices.
