Job summary

Gateway Search Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified Service Engineer in Singapore to provide onsite and remote technical support, conduct safety briefings, and manage site coordination with customers and subcontractors. The role demands troubleshooting at component level and strong customer orientation.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of servicing experience, knowledge of UPS or standby generators is preferred, and a Class 3 license

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years’ experience servicing and troubleshooting to component level.
• Knowledge in Uninterruptible Power Supplies or Standby Generators is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and build strong customer relationships.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with excellent customer orientation.
• Willing to work overtime and travel on short notice.
• Class 3 license is an advantage.
• Knowledge of general computer hardware and software applications is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service standards to customers and maintain strong relationships.
• Coordinate all site works with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for the team before start work.
• Provide on-site and off-site technical advice and resolve technical/logistical problems.
• Send vibration reports and provide detailed findings and recommendations to customers.
• Generate Method of Statement and Risk Assessments for jobs/sites.
