Job summary

PhoenixAI is seeking a Database Support Engineer to join our team in Singapore. You will lead onboarding, deployment, adoption, and long-term customer success for our Agentic Database, blending deep data engineering skills with strong communication.

The role requires 5+ years in post-sales or pre-sales in data analytics or cloud infrastructure, hands-on SQL, OLAP, data modeling, and experience with public clouds.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in post-sales or pre-sales roles in data analytics, database, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with OLAP workloads, SQL, and data modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
• Familiar with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong written and verbal communication, capable of explaining complex topics to varied stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and ability to tailor solutions for PoCs and customer needs.
• Experience supporting sales and post-sales teams to drive technical wins and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding and deployment guidance to ensure sales-cycle designs become production reality.
• Drive product adoption, resolve technical issues, and identify expansion opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with customer tech stakeholders and represent customer interests.
• Monitor technical health, troubleshoot production issues, and suggest architectural improvements.
• Relay patterns and pain points to engineering/product teams for improvements.
• Maintain detailed evaluations, PoCs, and outcomes to refine processes.
• Collaborate with sales to align technical talks with business goals and close deals.
• Support marketing activities through webinars, conference participation, and thought leadership.
• Assist presales with PoC design and execution when bandwidth requires.
