J.S. Plumbing Contractor Pte. Ltd.

seeks an experienced Plumbing & Sanitary Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Singapore. You will prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations and tender submissions for plumbing and sanitary works, ensuring timely submissions and cost control throughout the tender process. The ideal candidate will interpret drawings and specifications, perform quantity take-offs, and liaise with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in Plumbing & Sanitary / M&E construction.
• Experience in estimation, quantity surveying or tendering.
• Able to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of plumbing and sanitary systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Proficient with MS Office and estimating software.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Singapore construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for plumbing and sanitary projects.
• Study and interpret construction drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs and material cost calculations.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare tender submissions, bills of quantities and cost breakdowns.
• Review project costs and monitor pricing throughout the tender process.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend site visits and tender meetings when required.
• Assist in negotiating prices and subcontractor quotations.
• Ensure all quotations and tender submissions are accurate and submitted on time.
• Perform other duties related to estimation and quantity surveying as required.

Requirements

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating/quantity surveying software
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Candidates with strong Singapore construction industry experience will be preferred
