Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore seeks a PLC Systems Engineer to design and program PLC hardware and control software. You will handle testing, commissioning, and documentation, with site work and client interaction across projects.

Requirements include a Diploma in Engineering and 2+ years in PLC programming for automation, with familiarity of SCADA systems and interfacing to third-party devices. Weekend/night work may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Automation / Mechatronics / Building Technology).
• 2+ years in PLC control design and implementation in industrial automation or HVAC.
• Experience with Building Management System/SCADA/HVAC is an advantage.
• Hands-on programming with Mitsubishi, Schneider, GE, Bechhoff PLCs.
• Knowledge of SCADA (Intuition, iFIX or Mitsubishi MC Works) is an advantage.
• Good organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Team player but able to work independently in fast-paced environment.
• Able to work weekends or nights occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Design and programming of PLC control systems.
• Testing and commissioning of PLC Control Systems.
• Development of design specifications and documentation.
• Site testing and commissioning with clients.
• PLC software rectification for ad-hoc jobs.
• Interfacing design, implementation and testing with third-party systems using Modbus, BACNet or other protocols.
• Establish and maintain good client relationships.

Development of PLC Functional Design Specifications, Software Design Specifications, Control Schematics/Write-up and other Software Design/Test documentation.

Experience in interfacing design, implementation and testing between various third-party systems using Modbus, BACNet or other protocols will be an advantage.

Establish and maintain courteous and good relationship with clients.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Automation / Mechatronics / Building Technology).
• 2 or more years working experience in PLC Control Program design and implementation in industrial automation, process automation, Waterworks, and/or building HVAC systems.
• Have worked with Building Management System/SCADA/HVAC system is an advantage.
• Knowledge and hands-on programming skills of Mitsubishi, Schneider, GE, Bechhoff, PLCs
• Knowledge of SCADA (Intuition, iFIX or Mitsubishi MC Works) is an advantage
• A resourceful individual with good organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.
