Job summary

RRecruiter in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Control and Electrical Engineer to lead SCADA/PLC/DCS projects from concept through commissioning. You will liaise with stakeholders on control system design, develop and optimize PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs, and supervise a team of engineers on site and overseas.

The role covers Siemens, Omron, Allen-Bradley and WinCC, document handling, testing both locally and internationally, and coordinating resources to meet tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA/PLC/DCS projects from concept and design through programming, testing and commissioning.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on control system design and process flow.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs.
• Resolve electrical design and software issues with assembly and debugging teams.
• Lead, coach, and supervise Control and Electrical Engineers.
• Apply industrial communication protocols including Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, and Modbus.
• Work with PLC/HMI platforms such as Siemens, Omron, Allen-Bradley, and WinCC.
• Oversee project documentation for new and refurbishment projects.
• Independently conduct testing and commissioning locally and overseas.
• Coordinate resources to meet project and service timelines.
• Support IT/OT and IQ/OQ/PQ activities for new projects.
• Travel locally and overseas as required and perform other assigned duties.
