Job summary

Maybell Quantum Industries is seeking a Plant Manager for its Singapore site to own manufacturing execution across multiple workstreams, from line layout to first article validation of cryogenic hardware. You will build and lead the production team, transfer processes from the US, and drive ramp to steady state production while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in manufacturing/building complex hardware.
• 5+ years leading a production line or manufacturing department.
• Ramp experience from first build to rate production.
• Hands-on assembly and troubleshooting with hardware.
• Knowledge of Singapore safety and labor practices.
• Track record hiring/training a production workforce.
• Strong CAD and mechanical design skills.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing execution at Maybell's Singapore site across four workstreams.
• Lay out the production and test layout, specify tooling and equipment, drive installation.
• Transfer manufacturing, test, and inspection processes from the US site to Singapore.
• Lead first-article build and validation of dilution refrigerators.
• Ramp the line from first article to sustained rate production, improve cycle time.
• Own daily production operations, schedule, and shop-floor material management.
• Build and manage production schedules balancing capacity and labor.
• Hire, onboard, and develop production engineers, technicians, and supervisors.
• Train for complex assembly and establish skills matrices.
• Lead from the floor with hands-on oversight and cross-region collaboration.
• Ensure quality at the line, ensure safety, and drive lean improvements.
