Job summary

KLEEN-PAK PRODUCTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Planning & Purchasing Executive to support procurement and production planning activities.

You will manage purchase requisitions and supplier coordination, ensuring timely material availability for manufacturing. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in a related field, 1–3 years in purchasing or supply chain, and familiarity with SAP B1 and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, production planning or supply chain coordination.
• Manufacturing experience, preferably in chemicals, FMCG or a process industry, is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes, BOM-based purchasing, material requirements planning and inventory management.
• Working knowledge of SAP Business One or similar ERP systems, with good Excel and spreadsheet skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing and supplier coordination: Prepare PRs and POs in SAP B1 based on approved requirements and production demand.
• Production and material planning: Review production schedules and determine material requirements based on BOMs, inventory levels and planned demand.
• Inventory and system management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available; maintain purchasing and planning records in SAP B1.
• Reporting and process improvement: Prepare routine reports on PO status, delivery schedules, material availability and shortages; seek opportunities to improve processes with digital or AI tools.

We are seeking a hands-on Planning & Purchasing Executive to support our procurement and production planning activities. JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Purchasing and supplier coordination

• Prepare purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in SAP Business One (SAP B1) based on approved requirements and production demand.

• Obtain supplier quotations, assist with price comparisons and follow up on order confirmations, delivery schedules and outstanding purchases.

• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve routine purchasing and delivery issues, including import shipment tracking and documentation where applicable.

2. Production and material planning

• Review production schedules and assist in determining material requirements based on bills of materials (BOMs), inventory levels and planned demand.

• Monitor material availability and coordinate with Production and Warehouse to ensure materials are available when required.

• Identify and promptly escalation material shortages, delayed deliveries and potential supply risks.

3. Inventory and system management

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in identifying stock shortages, excess stock and discrepancies.

• Coordinate with Warehouse and QA on incoming material receipts, inspection and release status.

• Maintain accurate and timely purchasing, inventory and planning records in SAP B1, ensuring proper documentation and material traceability.

4. Reporting and process improvement

• Prepare routine reports on purchase order status, outstanding deliveries, material availability and potential shortages.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and support internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve work efficiency, data accuracy and reporting through standardised processes and appropriate digital or AI tools.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, production planning or supply chain coordination. Candidates with less experience may be considered based on their qualifications and aptitude.

• Manufacturing experience, preferably in chemicals, FMCG or a process industry, is an advantage.

• Basic understanding of procurement processes, BOM-based purchasing, material requirements planning and inventory management.

• Working knowledge of SAP Business One or similar ERP systems, with good Excel and spreadsheet skills.

• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, integrity and accountability.

• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

• Proactive and willing to learn, with an interest in using digital and AI tools to improve work processes.
