Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Tender Planner to coordinate cross-departmental tender activities in Singapore. You will collaborate with costing, M&E, and business teams to align tender requirements with drawings and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include developing MS Project schedules, planning site facilities, ensuring cost-effective sequencing, and supporting the tender team with technical queries. Site safety inspections and coordination with Japan HQ approvals are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Costing Department, M&E department and Business department on tender requirements.
• Cooperate with construction department staff in tender planning, EHS matters.
• Assist / attend subcontractor / supplier workshop meetings pertaining to tenders and prepare accordingly.
• Ensure proposed plannings align with drawings, specifications and authorities' requirements.
• Develop a suitable Microsoft Project schedule for tender projects showing work sequences from start to turnover.
• Study and propose feasible temporary site facilities (with alternatives).
• Study and propose construction sequences for structural and architectural works considering authorities' requirements and contract specs.
• Study and propose cost-effective ERSS for costing department.
• Provide technical support for the tender team on consultant queries.
• Estimate manpower and resources required for a tender project.
• Work with project team on proposals during tender stage if tender is successful.
• Review tender documents / specifications / drawings and highlight discrepancies or key items for tender team.
• Participate in safety site inspections to check on-site safety and workmanship.
• Proficient in software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD.
• Review construction previews submitted by project team and coordinate to obtain Japan HQ approval.
• Assist office management to improve on-site EHS.

• To ensure that the proposed plannings are in accordance with the drawings / specifications / authoritys requirement.
• Able to work up a suitable Microsoft Project schedule (or equivalent) for tender project showing all the proper work sequence from commencement to TOP.
• To study and proposed a (with alternative) feasible Temporary Site Facilities.
• To study and propose the suitable construction sequence for Structural and Architectural with taking note of the various authoritys requirement and contract specifications.
• To study and propose the suitable and most cost effective ERSS for the costing dept.
• To assist / provide technical support for the tender team on the queries from consultants.
• To work up and provided an estimated manpower and resources required in a tender project.
• To work with Project team on the various proposals that are being proposed during tender stage once the tender is successful.
• To check the tender documents / specifications / drawings and highlight any discrepancies or value engineering or key items that need to take note by tender team.
• To participate in safety site inspection to check on site safety, workmanship etc.
• Proficient in using software such as Microsoft office, Microsoft project, AutoCAD.
• To review the construction preview submitted by project team & coordinate with them to get Japan HQ approval.
• To assist the office management to improve on the sites EHS.
