Job summary

Reeracoen (Singapore) is recruiting a Tender and Contract Manager (M&E) for an established client in the high-tech engineering sector in Singapore. You will lead contractual matters, prepare tender documents, and oversee QS functions including cost estimation, budgeting, and progress claims to support project profitability.

You will liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, coordinate with project teams, monitor project costs, and provide detailed progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractual matters and resolve project-related disputes in coordination with the Director and Project Team.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are properly communicated and addressed.
• Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring effective allocation and utilisation of resources and manpower.
• Coordinate with various project stakeholders and departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Assist in the administration and management of main contracts.
• Oversee all Quantity Surveying (QS) functions, including cost estimation, budgeting, cash flow management, cost control, variation claims, progress claims, contract payments, and final account settlement.
• Prepare and review tender and contract documents, including Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Prepare and analyse tender costing and provide recommendations on contractual claims and procurement strategies.
• Monitor project costs, evaluate completed works, and prepare and submit progress claims.
• Track and assess variations to identify potential cost implications for ongoing projects.
• Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects.
• Prepare and submit product catalogues and sample boards as required.
• Prepare detailed project progress reports and provide updates on project performance.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
