Job summary

Visa Hunt is assisting a leading client to fill the role of Pharmacist (Operations / Back end). You will oversee the Pharmacy team including technicians and assistants, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive efficient daily operations.

The position emphasizes inventory control, audits, training, scheduling, billing closures, and coordination of controlled substances processes. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and experience in medication delivery or warehouse logistics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) or equivalent recognized by SPC
• Experience in medication delivery services or warehouse logistics is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Operations Manager in overseeing the Pharmacy team including Technicians and Assistants.
• Ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements during medication preparation and distribution.
• Monitor staffing levels to meet KPIs for effective operation.
• Coordinate manpower scheduling to facilitate smooth daily operations.
• Assist in developing and reviewing training and competency materials.
• Oversee training and competency assessments for Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants.
• Contribute to development and review of SOPs and related documentation.
• Conduct audits of medication safety practices and implement changes.
• Manage customer complaints and service recovery efforts efficiently.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee inventory management for stock control and adequacy.
• Plan and execute periodic cycle counts and annual stock takes.
• Manage administrative tasks such as billing closures and procurement of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with documentation for Controlled Drugs Wholesale Orders and receipt of Controlled Drugs stock.
• Assist in inventory management for Controlled Drugs, including counts and reconciliation.
• Undertake ad hoc responsibilities including cross-functional support.

Requirement:
