Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Pharmacist (Operations / Back end) to oversee the Pharmacy team, ensure compliant medication preparation and distribution, and drive operational excellence in a Singapore facility.

The role involves staffing to meet KPIs, inventory control including controlled drugs, development of training materials, audits, and cross-functional collaboration to improve workflows. Office hours and career growth opportunities are highlighted in the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) or an equivalent qualification recognized by SPC.
• Experience in medication delivery services or warehouse logistics is an advantage.
• Team player with good collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Operations Manager in overseeing the Pharmacy team including Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants.
• Ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements during medication preparation and distribution.
• Monitor staffing levels to meet KPIs for effective operation.
• Coordinate manpower scheduling to facilitate smooth daily operations.
• Assist in developing and reviewing training and competency assessment materials.
• Oversee training and competency assessments for Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants.
• Contribute to the development and review of operational workflows, including SOPs and related documentation.
• Conduct audits of medication safety practices and implement necessary changes.
• Manage customer complaints and service recovery efforts efficiently.
• Support the execution of quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee inventory management for accurate stock control and adequacy.
• Assist in planning and executing periodic cycle counts and annual stock takes.
• Manage administrative tasks such as billing charge closures and procurement of pharmacy supplies.
• Ensure compliance with documentation for Controlled Drugs Wholesale Orders and receipt of Controlled Drugs stock.
• Assist in inventory management for Controlled Drugs, including inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Undertake any ad hoc responsibilities as assigned, including cross-functional support.
