Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd. is seeking a Perm Buyer in Indirect Procurement (East) to manage end-to-end sourcing for spare parts, consumables, and services aligned with operational needs.

You will coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and planning teams to ensure timely deliveries and maintain procurement records. The role focuses on supplier evaluation, pricing negotiations, and driving cost reductions while complying with company policies and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage end to end sourcing and procurement activities for spare parts, consumables, materials and services to support operational requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, review quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms while maintaining required quality and service standards.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, logistics and planning teams to ensure timely material delivery; proactively resolve supply and delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records covering materials, vendors, pricing and expenditure to support purchasing decisions, planning and management reporting.
• Monitor supplier performance across delivery, quality and service.
• Support procurement cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives; prepare regular procurement reports and ensure activities comply with established policies and safety requirements.
