Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Contingent Buyer to oversee end-to-end procurement for indirect categories at the Bedok site in Singapore, with occasional deployments to the Seletar plant. You will lead RFQ processes, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiations to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.

The role requires 3–6 years of hands-on procurement experience, strong Excel and SAP skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of hands-on procurement and sourcing experience, preferably in indirect procurement.
• Strong experience in RFQ management, supplier evaluation, sourcing, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience managing P2P processes from requisition to delivery and supplier performance.
• Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP R/3 or other ERP/procurement systems.
• Independent, able to manage multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Location: Bedok, Singapore
Deployment: Occasional deployment to Seletar plant
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:48 PM
Contract Duration: 2 years
Salary: Up to SGD 6,000/month, depending on experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Contingent Buyer to join our client’s procurement team. Based primarily at the Bedok site, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end operational procurement activities across indirect categories, while working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

The successful candidate should be comfortable with occasional deployment to the Seletar plant as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for indirect categories, from requirement identification and sourcing through negotiation, purchase order, delivery, and supplier performance management.

• Lead supplier sourcing, identification, qualification, RFQ processes, benchmarking, and development of competitive supplier pools.

• Prepare sourcing documents, evaluate commercial proposals, conduct bid comparisons, clarify requirements with suppliers, and recommend suitable suppliers.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clear procurement specifications.

• Manage the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, supplier confirmations, and deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

• Manage the indirect procurement supplier base, including supplier onboarding, performance reviews, consolidation, and rationalisation where appropriate.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, sourcing documentation, quotations, supplier information, and procurement reports.

• Take ownership of assigned spend categories and ensure sourcing activities are completed within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 3–6 years of hands-on procurement and sourcing experience, preferably in indirect procurement.

• Strong experience in RFQ management, supplier evaluation, sourcing, and commercial negotiations.

• Proven experience managing operational procurement activities from requisition through PO, delivery, and supplier performance.

• Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills.

• Good understanding of procurement processes and sourcing methodologies.

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a commercial and cost-conscious mindset.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP R/3 or other ERP/procurement systems.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple sourcing projects, and thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
