Job summary

Grant Thornton Singapore Private Limited is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support an outsourced payroll function for multiple clients in Singapore. You will handle end-to-end payroll, liaise with clients to meet deadlines, and ensure accurate filings and reporting.

You will maintain payroll trackers, stay updated on statutory changes, and respond to ad-hoc inquiries from government bodies. Strong attention to detail and Excel proficiency are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Experience managing payroll operations in a payroll outsourcing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with payroll systems; knowledge of JustLogin is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and provide end-to-end payroll support including filings (IR8A/IR21).
• Liaise with clients to meet payroll deadlines and reporting timelines.
• Handle off-cycle payrolls and maintain payroll trackers & checklists.
• Stay updated on statutory and regulatory obligations affecting payroll.
• Support ad-hoc client requests (e.g., CPF Board, IRAS).
• Build and manage client relationships and support process improvements.
