Job summary

ALWAYSHIRED PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive HR Generalist with hands-on payroll experience to support payroll, employee lifecycle, and HR operations in a dynamic Singapore team.

The role focuses on accurate payroll processing, maintaining records, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with Singapore Employment Act. Strong English communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–5 years of HR experience with hands-on payroll processing.
• Strong understanding of Singapore Employment Act and payroll practices.
• Experience using HRIS and payroll systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to handle confidential information.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time per Singapore regulations.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation up to date.
• Support end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, transfers and offboarding.
• Administer benefits, leave, claims and attendance records.
• Prepare employment contracts and HR-related documents.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and candidate communication.
• Ensure compliance with Employment Act and HR regulations.
• Respond to payroll and HR policy inquiries.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain payroll and HR databases.
• Support HR initiatives and ad hoc projects.
