Job summary

AlwaysHired Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive HR Generalist with hands-on payroll experience to support the full spectrum of HR functions.

You will handle payroll, employee records, onboarding, and HR operations while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication in English. The role involves coordinating recruitment, preparing contracts, ensuring compliance with Singapore Employment Act, and generating HR reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in HRM/BA or related field.
• 2–5 years of HR Generalist experience with hands-on payroll processing.
• Good understanding of Singapore Employment Act and payroll practices.
• Experience using HRIS and payroll systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to handle confidential information.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and Singapore employment regulations.
• Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is up to date.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and offboarding.
• Administer employee benefits, leave, claims, and attendance records.
• Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and other HR-related documentation.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and other relevant HR regulations.
• Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll, leave, benefits, and HR policies.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain payroll and HR databases.
• Support HR initiatives, employee engagement activities, and other ad hoc HR projects.
