Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage full payroll processing across various employment types, ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements, and support HR and Finance with reconciliations.

The role requires a Diploma with at least 1 year in payroll, familiarity with local Employment Act, and proficiency in MS Office. Immediate availability is preferred in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma holder with at least 1 year HR payroll experience.
  • Experience in a payroll outsourcing company.
  • Working knowledge with infoTech/iRep system is an advantage.
  • Familiar with Employment Act is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiar with the security industry will be an advantage.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details.
  • Able to cope in a fast-moving environment and work independently.
  • Able to start immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full spectrum of payroll processing including income tax filing, CPF submission, and leaves.
  • Check time attendance and rosters to ensure correct hours and overtime.
  • Process payroll for full-time, part-time and casual labour; payroll reconciliation and tax documents.
  • Ensure timely monthly payroll processing, payouts and statutory compliance.
  • Prepare monthly payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Assist HR Manager in payroll projections during budget and salary reviews.
  • Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payroll and budget variance.
  • Assist in payroll audits from external auditors.
  • Support compensation and benefits processes and statutory submissions.
  • Handle payroll-related employee inquiries.
  • Perform ad-hoc or administrative duties as assigned.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for full spectrum of payroll processing, including but not limited to income tax filing and IR21 clearance, CPF submission, statutory claims such as NS-MUP, government paid leaves and payroll audits.
  • Checking of time attendance and roster to ensure payment of hours, including overtime are correct.
  • Processing of full-time, part-time and casual labour payroll matters, payroll reconciliation, and tax documents.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing. Ensure timely and accurate pay out and compliance with the statutory requirements and regulations.
  • Processing of all leave and claims, such as Maternity Leave, Childcare leave, Medical Leave, Annual Leave, ICT leave etc.
  • Prepare monthly payroll related reports and reconciliation and resolve any payroll discrepancies.
  • Assist HR Manager in payroll projection during budget exercise, salary review exercise, process streamlining, payroll system change/upgrading (if any) etc.
  • Work closely with Finance to reconcile monthly payroll report and budget variance report.
  • Assist in payroll audit from external auditors.
  • Support the current processes of compensation and benefits, government grants and the necessary statutory submissions such as MOM survey.
  • Handle employees’ payroll-related enquiries.
  • Other ad-hoc or administrative duties as and when assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma holder with at least 1-year related HR experience.
  • Working experience in payroll outsoucing company
  • Working knowledge with infoTech/iRep system is an advantage.
  • Familiar with Employment Act is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiar with the security industry will be an advantage.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details.
  • Able to cope in a fast-moving environment and work independently.
