Job summary

ByteDance PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Payroll Ops professional to manage end-to-end payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with evolving local laws. You will analyze data, generate reports, and support audits while partnering with internal stakeholders to optimize the employee experience.

You will contribute to monthly processes, adopt AI tools where appropriate, and help scale payroll operations as our business grows in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Strong data handling with large data volumes.
• Ability to learn new processes and regulations quickly.
• Logical thinking and structured problem solving.
• Good communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monthly end-to-end payroll activities: collating, validating inputs, outputs and statutory reporting.
• Assist in improving and implementing payroll processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support payroll changes in line with new policies or changes in laws and regulations.
• Provide payroll reporting and analysis; assist with internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above;
• Hands-on, strong data handling skills and the ability to work with large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
• A strong learning mindset and the ability to quickly learn new processes, systems and payroll regulations.
• Thinks logically and approaches problems in a structured way
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Openness to embracing and leveraging AI tools;
• Knowledge and experience in payroll & tax in Singapore;
