Responsibilities

• Ensure employment tax compliance obligations are met, including in-house preparation and submission of returns and collaboration with external advisors.
• Process employment tax payments within relevant statutory deadlines.
• Coordinate with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate employment tax filings.
• Assist business units with ad hoc employment tax queries by providing practical solutions relating to benefits in kind and other employment tax risks.
• Map employment tax processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform tax research and propose recommendations based on findings.
• Provide internal and external audit support, including data analysis.
• Leverage AI automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.

About the Team The HR Operations team endeavours to continuously build and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the whole employee lifecycle. • Support to ensure that all of the employment tax compliance obligations are met, including in-house preparation and submission of returns and working in partnership with external advisors;
• Process employment tax payments within relevant statutory deadlines;
• Support in coordination with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate employment tax filings;
• Support business units with ad hoc employment tax queries by providing practical solutions relating to benefits in kind and other employment tax related risks;
• Assist with mapping of employment tax processes and identify areas for improvement;
• Perform tax research and propose recommendations based on findings;
• Provide internal and external audit support, including data analysis;
• Leverage AI automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)

• Fast learner with strong critical thinking skills;
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex tax laws and regulations;
• Ability to research technical queries by analyzing and interpreting tax legislation.

Preferred Qualification(s)

• Previous employment tax experience, either in-house or within a professional services firm, with employment tax-specific experience and exposure across APAC countries;
• Project Management experience;
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and explain complex tax concepts in a clear and practical way to non-tax stakeholders.
