Job summary

Smart IMS Inc. is supporting a top global investment bank in Singapore, overseeing technology project delivery to regions including China and Taiwan.

The role requires coordinating a diverse team of PMs, developers, and technical staff to meet business requirements on time and within budget. Ideal candidates bring 4–5 years in project management, 2–3 years in Banking Technology, and hands-on payments application implementations or migrations, with PMP/PRINCE2 preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of project management experience, with 2–3 years in Banking Technology.
• Payments application implementation or migration experience.
• Regulatory initiatives or payments/clearing project experience is a plus.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects with detailed plans and resources.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders; communicate status, risks, and issues.
• Mentor a team of project managers, developers, and technical staff.
• Identify and mitigate risks; develop contingency plans.
• Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and best practices in delivery.
• Oversee budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance.
• Coordinate with external vendors and manage contracts when needed.
• Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple teams and time zones.
• Articulate business and technical value to senior management.
